1. Data controller

2. What data we process, why and for how long

Contact requests (form or email)

• Data: name, email, phone (optional), subject and message.
• Purpose: to reply to the request and, where applicable, to submit a proposal.
• Legal basis: steps taken at the data subject's request prior to entering into a contract, and legitimate interest in replying to the contacts we receive (GDPR, Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
• Retention: 12 months after receipt. If the contact leads to a contract, the data is kept under the terms of that contract and of the applicable legal obligations.

The required fields of the form are needed so that we can reply.

Server technical logs

• Data: IP address, date and time, and page requested.
• Purpose and legal basis: website security and abuse prevention — legitimate interest (GDPR, Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Retention: 14 days.

3. Recipients

Apart from ECU92, only the providers that process the data on its behalf — website hosting (server in the European Union) and email service —, bound by a contract under Art. 28 GDPR. If any of these providers processes data outside the European Economic Area, this only happens with the safeguards set out in the GDPR (for example, standard contractual clauses).

4. Your rights

You may request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data and object to processing based on legitimate interest, by writing to info@ecu92.pt. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.

5. Cookies

The website only uses one technical cookie (session), created on the contact form to protect it against fraudulent submissions and deleted when you close the browser. No advertising or analytics cookies are used.
